With Doug TV

Music On: Big Summer Energy

There’s something special about the way a community grows when people share their stories. That’s been the heart of Lunch With Doug since the very beginning — real conversations, local voices, and moments that remind us why hometown connections matter.

As we move through Season 10, the project continues to evolve in ways that feel both familiar and brand new. Whether it’s musicians bringing their latest work to the table, business owners sharing their journeys, or creative minds talking about what inspires them, every episode adds another thread to the tapestry of Nevada, Missouri, the surrounding region, and to the With Doug TV viewing audience as well.

Recent Shows: A Summer of Wins & Community Support

Precision Coffee Performance Series — Packed House & Pure Vibes

The performance series at Precision Coffee has been one of the most energizing runs of the season. Every show brought in a lively crowd, great conversations, and a warm creative atmosphere. The music blended perfectly with the smell of fresh coffee and the buzz of community. These events were a huge success, and I’m grateful for everyone who came out to support live local music.

The Legion Show — A Night We’ll Never Forget

The photo seen above captures one of the most meaningful moments of the night: Left to right — Dangerous Doug Harper, Matthew Harper, and Sim Miller, members of The Num Nutz, reunited on the American Legion floor in Nevada, Missouri, celebrating 30 years since our first official show back in 1996.

The Legion was like home to the band back in the day — hosting more Num Nutz shows than anywhere else, and even letting us rent out the hall to throw teen dances. So stepping back into that room for an acoustic tribute reunion on Saturday, August 8, 2026, felt like returning to our roots. A different corner of the same room, but the same spirit, the same memories, and the same energy that shaped our early years.

I just want to thank every single one of you who came out, sang along, shared memories, and made the Fusion Fest After‑Party something truly special. Getting to play those old Num Nutz songs with my brother Matthew and my cousin Sim was honestly one of the most fun moments I’ve had on stage in a long time. Hearing those tunes come alive again — with all of you right there with us — meant more than I can say.

Huge thanks to DJ Finnis for keeping the energy high and to all the Finnis fans who packed the room and made the night feel electric. And of course, thank you to the American Legion and their amazing staff for hosting us and making everything run smooth. You always treat us like family.

And a big shoutout to The Boutique Marketplace for putting on the Second Annual Fusion Fest earlier in the day — giving us the perfect reason to throw an after‑party worth remembering.

Red Cherry Alley at Vintage Stock — Creativity on Full Display

Our last Red Cherry Alley show at Vintage Stock inside Northpark Mall was a creative explosion. The turnout was strong, the performances were tight, and the energy was incredible. Fans, friends, and curious shoppers all stopped in to enjoy the music and the moment. It was one of the most successful Red Cherry Alley pop‑ups yet, and it’s clear the momentum is building.

With Doug TV: Now Playing Everywhere (Including Precision Coffee!)

Big news — With Doug TV is coming soon to the big screen at Precision Coffee. So even if you don’t have Roku (but who are we kidding… 47 million people do), you can still enjoy the channel with fresh coffee, good vibes, and a cozy seat.

And of course, you can watch the streaming channel right here on this Blogspot, as well as on any Roku device in the world — totally FREE.

More area businesses will be putting With Doug TV on their screens soon, too… so keep an eye out. Here we come.

Catch Me Live — This Sunday at Casa Azteca

I’m excited to invite everyone out for a special evening:

Dangerous Doug Harper — Live at Casa Azteca (Patio/Deck) Sunday, August 16 • 7–9 PM All Ages • Free Admission Casa Azteca • 904 E Subway Blvd, Nevada, Missouri

It’s the perfect place to discover songs you may not know yet but will instantly connect with. If you’ve ever heard someone say, “Doug plays music — you should catch a show sometime,” this is your moment. And if it’s been a while since you’ve seen me live, the experience has leveled up — more fun, more interaction, and a fresh wave of creativity added over the last few months.

Casa Azteca offers great food, cold drinks, and a welcoming outdoor patio. There’s no cover, but grabbing a meal or a drink helps keep the lights on and the music flowing.

Want to get ready to sing along? You can listen to my music on Spotify, Apple Music, and all streaming platforms before the show.

A beautiful evening, a friendly patio, and live original music you’ll remember — I hope to see you there.
