Lunch Letter Inbox #2

Lunch Letter Inbox 2 "Snow Day"

Here comes another installment of “Lunch Letter Inbox”, and I am your host Dangerous Doug Harper. That sounds a little too much like a game show. Though, I am kind of game showier than most. Though for real, I could of been a perfect replacement for Bob Barker on the Price Is Right, but Drew got it, and he is doing a fine job.

Today is a happy snow day here in good old Vernon County. Old man winter blew in pretty unannounced and now a nice white dust covers the streets.

On a day like this it is a great time to get to enjoy some music on the web and of course I have a link to some of the newer music from our current, alumni and area musical artists.

Luke Mitchem - "Which Wolf Will You Feed"

Exiguous - Blessed

Hey D-Lunchers or Dunchers if you prefer (it’s your new cool nickname),

With 2020 on the near horizon who would not be ready for the best social time of the year with friends, family, and work mates. So here we go with some fun things you might want to schedule into your holiday socializing and shopping schedules.

Going on NOW!

The Charles Dickens holiday classic comes to life as a live 1940s radio broadcast, complete with vintage commercials for fruitcake (extra-fancy), and the magic of live sound effects and musical underscoring. A handful of actors bring dozens of characters to the stage, as the familiar story unfolds: Three ghosts take Ebenezer Scrooge on a thrilling journey to teach him the true meaning of Christmas. A charming take on a family favorite that will leave no one saying "Bah Humbug!"
Adults $7
Seniors $6
Students $5

Going on NOW December 12-14 at 7 PM and December 15 at 2 PM at the C.C.P.A. Fox Playhouse 110 S. main Street, Nevada, Missouri
