Cherry Street Fusion Fest 2025: Where Local Legends Lit Up the Street
If you were anywhere near downtown Nevada, MO on September 11 and ongoing this weekend, you felt it. The buzz. The bass. The unmistakable pulse of Cherry Street Fusion Fest. This year’s celebration wasn’t just cool—it was electric.
From the first guitar riff to the final encore, Fusion Fest delivered a grassroots spectacle that felt like a love letter to local creativity. The main stage was stacked with original acts that brought the heat, the heart, and the weird in all the best ways. Whether you were vibing with Matthew Harper the “American Busker”, rocking out to Osage Outlaws, catching Dangerous Doug Harper in action, or getting swept up in the sounds of Timmy Miano, A.M. Jamison and Alpha Wave Elixir, Left of Center, or Matteson Gregory—every set felt like a moment.
But it wasn’t just about the music. The vendors brought flavor and flair—from handmade goods to bacon-themed brilliance (yes, “Why Bacon Is Better” was a real thing). Families wandered between booths, teens danced in the street, and artists swapped stories under string lights. It was community in motion.
And let’s talk about the On the Scene presence. Between live coverage, collectible card drops, and surprise interviews, the team turned the fest into a living episode. If you missed it, you can still catch the vibe on Roku or —but trust us, being there was something else.
Huge thanks to our sponsors who made it all possible: With Doug TV, On the Scene, KDK Bookings, OTR Productions, American Legion Post #2, Care to Share (Fort Fest), Boutique Marketplace, and Dairy Queen. And a special shoutout to Aubrey and Trevor from Local Ear Magazine, and Dominique and Adam from On the Scene—your support, coverage, and creative energy helped make Fusion Fest unforgettable.
Cherry Street Fusion Fest 2025 isn’t just an event. It’s a reminder of what happens when local talent, real connection, and a little bit of chaos come together.
