Hello, everyone! We’re excited to announce that the First Saturday on the Square is happening this Saturday, June 1st, from 10 AM to 3 PM on the west side of The Square in Nevada. We have a rockstar lineup of activities and vendors for you to enjoy. Here’s what you can look forward to:

🎵 Music On The Square 🎵

First Saturday Music at the Statue of Joel Stone: Start your day with some soothing tunes from Lucas Corbin. The music will be flowing from 11am until 1 PM at the Statue of Joel Stone. It’s the perfect way to set the tone for the rest of the day’s events.

Hollywood Style Instore Appearance: From 1-3pm, we have a special treat for you! Russell Wayne will be making Hollywood-style appearances at the Red Cherry Alley Store Next Door Stage, located at Nevada Tobacco and C-Store, 125 W. Cherry. Don’t miss this unique experience!

Music on the Square with the Osage Outlaws: Join us again after all of the shopping downtown excitement on the South lawn of the Courthouse Square from 6-8pm for a lively performance by the Osage Outlaws. Bring your lawn chairs, and dancing shoes and get ready for a night of fun!

This highway, which was part of the National Auto Trail system, was built in the 1910s. It was marketed as the “Palm to Pine Highway”, referring to the differing trees one would find at either end of the route. A Route of Historical Significance The Jefferson Highway Association came into existence in 1915, and the initial routing was conceived between Winnipeg and New Orleans by 1916.
