Hey there, I write to you today in hopes I can get you all onboard as followers at my Bandcamp page. What is Bandcamp? You may be asking. It is a web-space and app dedicated to independent music. Right now Bandcamp is one of the most popular places for indie artists and bands (such as me) to be able to get their music out to the world in a logistical way for this type of artists. I have made my Bandcamp space as unique as possibly can from all of the other social media places that I have content at, and the ones I use frequently. Also Bandcamp as a whole has set their page up to be all about audio music and a few communication tools. Not all of my albums and singles go to the major digital outlets. This is mostly controlled by me but sometimes for reasons out of my control, there are places that my music does not get to. This is ok for the most part, but another element of distribution that can be out of my control is how fast a digital outlet will get the release available t...

During the State Social Distancing Order, here at Lunch With Doug we will be designing a map of downtown Nevada, Missouri. The map will help get all the local stores and eateries back and booming after the order ends. Tonight (Friday, March 20) there will be free admission/no Cover charge for the Eric Reitan performance. Eric is a one man band kind of show that features a wide variety of musical styles. He will perform from 8pm - midnight at Jim's Roadhouse at 705 N. Osage, Nevada. MO. The venue has and will continue in taking extra precautions to keep the establishment sanitized well above the state cleanliness requirements, and may put an attendance cap in effect if proper social distancing becomes a challenge. "This is a trialing situation right now in our country, and we are set to be part of the solution" a Roadhouse spokesperson said during a recent phone call interview. Portions of the event will also be made viewable on the venue Facebook page, for anyone that would like a virtual experience of tonight's performance.
